PostHeaderIcon Beauty Begins With Your Spirit

BeautyIn writing articles relating to self improvement topics, the highest response has been under the category of beauty. In order to address the interests of our lady readers, I am dedicating this article to beauty. Did you know that you are beautiful? Beauty was placed in your spirit at the moment of conception. When you were created, you added to all the beauty the world has to offer.

What you see in the mirror is a reflection of your soul. If you don’t see joy when you look in the mirror, help is on the way. Chances are, you’re not seeing yourself the way God sees you. You are precious in his sight. All it takes is a little practice looking for the good and that frown will turn into a smile.

The two most revealing features into your soul are the eyes and the mouth. If you can focus on those two features alone, you will begin to like what you see when you look in the mirror. Begin with care for your teeth. Wear a tinted lip balm and practice smiling. A smile makes you more approachable.

When eyes are defined, they will hold attention of the person you are speaking with. Even if you wear glasses, defining the eyes will help with contact. Begin with shaped brows. You don’t have to pluck. One trick in trimming and another is using brow powder. These are both simple and painless. You don’t have do overdo eyeshadow and eyeliner. Just use a tawny tone for shadow and a muted darker shade of shadow for liner, used with a small brush. Just a bit of mascara will do the trick.

If you feel comfortable, use a bit of primer and tinted foundation on the face and you have completed a simple way to face the day. It can be a spirit lifter when you look in the mirror. When you can smile at yourself, you’ll find it easier to smile at others. Then the rest will come naturally. Have a good day and let others see the beauty in your spirit.
